I dislike Coulter (and "shock" commentators like her) because they lower the standard of political discourse.

I know Americans are fixated on this partisan mud-slinging, but surely there are better commentators than Coulter representing the conservative movement, people who can express cogent opinions that don't involve slandering and insulting people, or pointing fingers at big white whales.

Furthermore there is a huge group of people (like me) who aren't right wing & aren't liberal... we're called moderates or centrists. In fact moderates/centrists are probably the largest political group in the USA as we cross party lines (independents, republicans & democrats). Every time someone opposes your views you slap the label of "liberal" on them, when in reality a small minority of people fall into this category.
