Hi guys,

I am a K1 visa holder, about to marry my US finace. I am in the process of filling in my I-765 work authorisation form. When it asks me to write in which category I am a bit confused! Am I a K1 category (sec 6) or EAD Applicant (Section 7)??

SO CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!

You need to apply for your EAD along with your AOS (adjustment of Status) if you apply for EAD before you file for AOS your EAD will only be valid for 90 days from the day you entered the US.

When you apply for the EAD along with your AOS you are applying under catagory c9.
