Women's groups are pressuring Wal-Mart to change their policy and start carrying the morning-after Pill. What do you think?

Paul Zagoras,

"Wal-Mart has always sold emergency contraceptives. What do you think the paint aisle is for?"

Mike Gerald,

CPA

"Wal-Mart didn't carry the medication when I needed it, but in the interest of serving my needs, the pharmacist did refer to a very inspirational Bible passage."

Erica Tunnison,

Bartender

"It makes sense to me, because when I think about birth control, my first thought is definitely Wal-Mart customers."

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

if you're on birth control pills you don't even need to get the morning after pill... you just have to take as many pills at once to equal the morning after pill dosage....

actually the taking lots of birth control pills thing is rather hit and miss. More miss than hit. The Morning After pill is somewhat different in chemical structure to many of the birth control pills out there.

Aside from the Onion joke (which i always laugh at) I most certainly think the Morning After Pill should be made widely available. It's effective when other types of contraception fail, and it's certainly far less invasive than the alternatives.

I think its a really good idea to make it widely available. Here in England you can buy it at any pharmacy without a prescription...since some walmarts are open 24 hours it seems like a great idea to have them supply it.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Really? even when your pills are the same hormones and say 5 pills (for example) matches exactly the dose of 1 plan B pill? I find it hard to beleive that that wouldn't be effective... it is the same drub deliveery system, etc.

Only problem is that this is off-label usage... but really that's like saying that taking a 1000mg Tylenol and 2 500mg Tylenols will have a different effect!
