My question is why it took so long for us to get approve, we are freaking out here, its so unfair. Our case is almost 11 mos now. I see some got approve 14-20 days after the RFE response, but ours is already 1 month, I'm sick & tired of checking the website & email every now & then, still no NOA2. My husband hates to call uscis, getting same answer. We are so hopeless & helpless now. Very sad here, It's so aggreviating. Need your comment guys. Here's my timeliness:

'mamalou' - A couple of people this week have called USCIS and found out that their files were approved. I believe their case status was not updated online.

Wouldn't hurt to make another Call to USCIS this week if you haven't already.

I am sure you will get an approval very very soon :)

Good Luck!

Hi Tita Lou.. I agree with the above statement. Perhaps you should try calling USCIS and ask what happened to your case. I am very positive that your approval is on the way. It is hard but you need to hang in there and be strong. Good things would come up soon.. (F)

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

Dear mamalou,

Did your husband call them today? I think it`s the best thing to do now. And, maybe....you can be suprised and your case may be approved too. I read about a few people who were approved but website wasn`t updated...

Let me know, ok?

Good luck!!

Cin, if they did not update our status in the website, Is it possible also that they will not send us notice in email? Because our previous notices was in email, ''CRIS notice of RFE ''& ''Case processing resume''. So i assume it will be in the email when they give notices. Will tell hubby to call USCIS I hope this time they will give good news for us.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Lisa,

You are goin with K3, but in AOS & EAD forum I found something really frustrating thought....it takes 4months to even one year to get AOS approved...u still have gutts and patience left to deal with USCIS again and again? I must salute u by the way...here is the link http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...=170670&hl=

and I even observed many ppl getting approved even after one year....

What do u say?Can even sacrifice couple of months rather waiting for something(worst case scenario) may be months after months?

think baby think.....

Hey Mama! How are you hon? I was asking about you a few days ago!

Still nothing??? Damn it!!!!

Well don't be very very upset. Seems like VSC is doing more work and getting out more approvals now than before. Alot of people got their approvals. Like someone said, they didn't get an email or letters, but when they called, the people there told them they were approved. Definitely let your hubby call for you.

I also need to call them and check. I'm gonna try and call tomorrow. I see some May approvals and still didn't get mine.

Let us know as soon as you get your approval!!! I can't wait to send you a congratulations!!!

hey sonia,

ya. I have seen all of the worst case senarios. Our big decision maker was that every long term (6+ months) AP out of our consulate is Cr1. THAT, is a gamble we arent willing to take.

Our thinking is, if we are together we can face anything...aww, so mushy and sweet

Like I say, the options (K3 vs Cr1) are very personal and should be carefully analyzed.

The EAD is approved seperately from the AOS, if he can work within 3 months...we can wait for the AOS :)
