Our interview date is coming soon, i'm not yet in 60-90 days for EAD application. My interview date was scheduled on Feb. 11, 2009. From the date of filing to our interview date it only takes about 87 days. I'm thinking that there is a posiibility that my EAD will get approved before or after our interview date because it falls within 60-90 days.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

Like I said in our Filer thread, because you are considered to of came from Canada via the VWP and not on a K1/B1 type visa this is most definatly a normal thing to happen.

It's a good thing =)

Goodluck!

I was wondering the same thing! :help:

I came into the US on a tourist visa in May. My husband surprise-proposed and of course I said yes, and stayed here. We got married and submitted my paperwork on November 06, 2008.

We received the NOA for our I-130, I-485, EAD and AP.

Then we did Biometrics on December 09, 2008.

Now we have received a notice 'Request for Initial Interview' for February 05, 2008.

:D I am very excited!

But it also confused me a little, because by reading the forums here (which I do everyday and pay close attention to the advice being given) I had thought that I would first get the EAD notices.

Has anybody else had the same thing happen?

I am now putting together the documents we will take to our appointment, copies of applications, bonafides of marriage, etc.

PS: Thank you to everybody who participates in these forums. I am definitely NOT a very active member in them, but I have read them like (excuse the expression) a Bible. It makes me feel like I am not alone in this strange process of changing one's life. The posts I love the most are of course the ones where people share their succesful interview stories and 'Have Green Card!'

:star: I wish everybody the best of Luck :star:
