Right after my bridal shower started yesterday, they closed I-90, I-79, I-80 and 6 (all major roads in my area). They had them opened by 8 or 9pm, but a lot of people got a VERY late start home.

Oh Erie lake-effect snow, how I love thee.

My dad says this weekend was a warm-up for the massive blizzard we'll be getting on my wedding day

Still snowing!! I've been at work about an hour and have at least an inch of snow on my car. School's closed again!

I'd be running through the snow in my bathing suit, then making snow angels!

I you do, you should invite him to make angels.

It's been pretty cold here since the new year. The coldest in 10 years. Figures. This morning it was 9 F. We're supposed to get some "Alberta Clipper" tonight, and expecting 3-4 inches of snow. People are going to go nuts here with that amount of snow! 40 mph winds, and the lows about 2. Highs about 12 over the weekend. It's so damp here, the cold is soooooo cold! Well, that's what it feels like to me! Even -1 would only be -18 C, but dang that's freaking cold here. I am such a wimp for cold since I moved here. Actually I'm such a wimp in the heat here as well. Anyway, the stores will be BUSY today as everyone buys milk, bread, salt and snow shovels!

Pft, if you think you're a wimp, I'm embarrassed to say that I am absolutely frozen at 45*F here in Florida. Wind chill doesn't help.

I think I broke the sunshine state...

I think they'd look more like blobs than angels.

Every time my BIL visits we get a cold snap in Florida. I blame him.

I see that not only is it going to be cold on Saturday, it's also going to rain. Get really pretty umbrellas, Sam. The pictures will be great! (I'm serious. I think rain and neat umbrellas (maybe clear ones for the bride and groom?) will make for awesome wedding pictures.)
