Holy WIND!!!!

It is sooo windy outside right now(I'm 20 mins from Windsor). No snow on the ground when I woke up this morning & not much for precipitation for the day so far, which is good.

But windy! If I had an umbrella I could be like Mary Poppins!

I had to call a tow truck, but it was free cause I have road side assistance.

Since about 10pm last night, we've had snow, rain, ice pellets, hail, thunder, lightning and a whooooole lot of wind.

Do not like.

And it's bloody cold.

04/23/2010 - EAD approved.

04/27/2010 - AOS Interview at Orlando USCIS (decision pending).

04/28/2010 - Card production ordered!

05/03/2010 - EAD received.

05/03/2010 - Welcome letter received.

05/28/2010 - Green Card received in mail.

it was 73 and sunny here today :D

It will be back down to the high 40's by tomorrow, but I wasn't expecting the loveliness of the day. My brother messaged me on FB and basically said "eff you and your weather" LOL - they're calling for yet another storm out east. Miramichi is supposed to get 20-30cms and high winds...I do feel bad for them though...told him we always have a couch available if he ever wants to get away <3

9/08/09 - returned RFE to field office. Approved for Green Card
9/09/09 - Received email that Card production had been ordered.
9/17/09 - Green Card in the mail - No more USCIS until June, 2011 :D

On the upside, the 'warmer' weather (I use the term loosely) is sticking around instead of going away after 1 day - we are talking a difference between lows in the - 20s to lows in the minus 10s :lol:

It's snowing.

It took my Husband 2 and a half hours to drive from downtown to our place last night - it took him 40 minutes to go one block downtown. On a normal day that drive would be around 20-30 mins tops.

I heard you guys in Southern Ontario were having some wacky weather last night. I was talking to my mom around 10pm and she told me the neighbours garage door came off and got carried by the wind. It has windows in it, so now there is glass everywhere. It must be pretty darn windy! Yikes.

Its been absolutely freezing here lately but it has come as a benefit to us. The inlaws run and operate an auto specialties shop and they've been selling an insane number of batteries. I've been employed all week! :lol: So, I'm slowly becoming a battery expert. The things you never expected you'd do with your life...

Snow snow snow here! Almost a foot of it! And 6-8" or more expected today! Gotta love lake effect snow :)

Picture is of my car with less than an hour of snow resting on it. It's really coming down steady out there!
