They said it's going to be severe. Tornadoes and flooding and such. The worst storms I've seen have been during the non-hurricane season so I believe them when they tell me "severe". It's supposed to start around 10pm for us in Lake.

Thanks. I'll report back tomorrow. lol. Maybe I should have a nap. I had a terrible sleep last night, and if there's a storm tonight I won't be able to sleep through that either. I make for a very grumpy onion when I've had no sleep.

Unfortunately, no. They sold the house in 2003 to be closer to her kids (my dad/aunt/uncle) and now live in Orlando.

Right now it's 39* F and it's raining cats and dogs. Oh, and there are polar bears and penguins in my classroom!!! (<- that's me frozen in icicles)

Yes, it's now in the upper 40's so no hope of snow...but still raining and overall icky outside. I prefer snow, being a teacher and all

Very light snow falling, very little accumulation, just enough to say wow this is just total #######. Cold too...

Stay safe, Krikit . We've had heavy rain all day and there are some streets in Atlanta flooded again. It was in the 40s for more of the day but is getting warmer now and is warmer now than it has been for most of the day. We have chances of thunderstorms overnight as well, then on the weekend it is going to go cold enough that the forecast rain could turn into wet snow. We'll see.
