Had lots of rain last night - very heavy; very windy now- 45 mph gusts, 35 mph steady; wind warnings out and flood warnings in the north parts of the city (we're south). A really dramatic sky with lots of scudding clouds and blue sky (although dusk right now and clouds tinged with pink). Temperatures in the 50s on their way down to 40s overnight then back down to the 30s and 20s for the nights after that with the highs in the 50s. Lots of trees being blown down since the ground is soft from all that rain - peopled injured. The good news is that Lake Lanier is now up 4 feet from where it was (in exceptional drought area so rain is needed). Streams and rivers are expected to crest overnight so flood warnings are still out.

Now I do still tornado chase in the Spring time which is fun, but that's about all I do with radars and doplers on the net when trying to determine where I'm going or what state I'm driving too that day etc...

Ah, Northern New Brunswick winters...

Well the maritimes are about to be hit with that icky mess over Ont and Que tonight...flurries now, about -10 or so..Weather warning for 15-25cm of snow overnight, changing over at times to freezing rain, flurries in the morning...

Hehehe, well, the weather was the lead story on the 5 o'clock and 6 o'clock news. Don't know about 11 as I didn't watch that. Today is one of those perfect 'Spring' days - still air, beautiful blue sky, temperatures in the low 50s - kind of makes you happy to be alive. Going down to freezing overnight and then back into the 60s. Cold front coming through this weekend though - dropping 15 degrees on both highs and lows.

Just outside of Windsor here....and omg the snow. I was told it didn't snow much here(well, compared to Toronto), and I can't believe how much we've gotten since sometime in December.
