Wonder if it is going to rain here today - it's nice out - even though it is 90 degrees, there is a nice wind out there. The other good thing when it rains is that the cat doesn't want to go out in the back yard.

Overcast here and the possibility of thunderstorms. We had a nice quiet soaking rain yesterday which did the garden a lot of good. Right now it is very still and humid and the air has that heavy feeling of storms coming later on. The sun keeps trying to break through, but the sky is piled high with these really thick, heavy clouds ranging in colour from brilliant white to dark blue.

I love the colour of the sky and the clouds when there's a storm. I don't like seeing purple skies, though, because the contain twisters. LOL

Yes, we did get get the thunder and a nice big rain shower - sunshine back now - the cat wants to go outside. I have no problem with her going out in the yard really - it's just that the sliding door here is so old it is just awful to open and close.

Summer hasn't arrived yet here. We are lucky if it gets into the mid 60s. There was another frost warning last night and a little further north into Manitoba they had a few snow flakes fly. I heard from my cuz i Calgary that they had snow too. #######..... so much for global warming.

Yup....we have snow on the ground here in Calgary this morning and last weekend it was in the high 20's.....go figure!
