Dutch Police Clearance Certificate

I grew up in Holland and only left there when I was 17, so I spent at least 12 months there after the age of 16. I know I need a British PCC and a Dutch PCC, but I can't figure out where to send the request to get a Dutch PCC.

I did send it to the Amsterdam Consulate as one page I read on the State Department's website seemed to allude to that, but they told me to send it either the Embassy or Center processing my application. Does anyone have any experience with this and know where to send the request?

Not sure if it is different since you are EU resident, but for me request for the Dutch police clearance was sent by the consulate that processed my visa (in my case, it was consulate in Jakarta)

Dec 20 2004 : NVC sent DS 3032 to beneficiary, copy of DS 3032 & I-864 fee bill to petitioner

Jan 3 2005 : Petitioner received copy of DS 3032 and I-864 fee bill. Post-marked Dec 23rd.

Jan 11 2005 : Beneficiary received DS 3032 in Indonesia

Jan 31 2005 : Sent DS 3032 to NVC

Feb 8, 2005 : NVC received DS 3032

Feb 21, 2005 : IV fee generated

Feb 25, 2005 : Sent I-864 fee bill

Feb 28, 2005 : I-864 fee bill delivered to St Louis

Mar 3, 2005 : IV fee bill received

Mar 7, 2005 : Sent IV fee bill

Mar 9, 2005 : IV fee bill delivered to St Louis

Mar 28, 2005 : I-864 fee credited against case.

April 6, 2005 : Received I-864 package

April 7, 2005 : Immigrant Visa fee credited against case.

So you didn't have to do anything yourself? The consulate sends it off, or in my case the NVC? Because that is the page I found the information from, but sent it myself to that email address, as I can't find the email address for London US embassy...

I did not do anything myself w/ regards to Dutch police cert. Does the NVC schedule your interview or the US consulate in London? If it is the latter, once you got notification from NVC that your case has been transferred to London consulate, you might want to contact the consulate to get things started quoting your case number. If NVC does the interview scheduling, you can email about this subject to them. Can't help you with the specifics about contacting the consulate in London, I am sorry.

When I asked the consulate to send the request for Dutch police cert, I was told to do it myself. I showed them the print out of the page - they sent the request through the consulate. I think there were other VJ members who had to get Dutch police cert and the consulate requested it on their behalf.

Good luck on getting this sorted out.

Okay, I got an RFE from the NVC who is processing my CR-1 visa, as I do not have a Dutch Police Clearance Certificate. I emailed the Amsterdam Consulate and asked them to get me one. They stated that as I was residing in the UK, the London US Embassy would have to request one from them, not me personally. I know of no way to get in touch with the US Embassy in London other than their 1.20 GB pounds a minute premium rate phone line. Before I go down that route and wash my hard-earned cash away, does anyone have an email address for them so I can send them my request for a PCC?
