We have our interview in 5 days (jan 14th) then baby number 3 due May 19th! Then Flights booked for June 30th.

Fingers crossed that baby arrives on schedule as we have 6 weeks to organise and get a passport

Going to try and get my interview for around March/April and leaving around June 10th.

If I decide to stay for my graduation ceremony, I'll have to wait until July 25th or so and I don't have the funds (or patience) to add another 6 weeks onto that.

I dont know why but I have a feeling that I wont get an interview till end Feb begining of March as only just sent packet 3, you should have your packet 3 in a couple or so weeks are you gonna send it off as soon as you get it

If we put the date we intend travelling on the form, will that help get an earlier date? I want to go mid feb.... Do you think it might happen?

I honestly dont know, I put on packet 3 I intend to go April which I thought seemed a realistic date although I would like to go on the 31st March same day as Daymo could be a laugh, but not sure if it makes any difference as they say not to book anything before you get your visa. Put not know for the wedding date as then they might want to know what is booked and we have done zilch, suprise suprse think it will be a rush to city hall on the harley lol

Will do and I hope it will be sooner delayed sending back packet 3 as I was going to the states for Christmas and now I am so ready to get the ball rolling, I wont hand in my notice till I get the visa as I still have to clear the balance on the credit card got a bit out of hand with all the trips to the states

Could be a laugh!!??? Nailed on WILL be a laugh!! And make sure your flight leaves around the same time as mine so we can maximise airport drinking time!

I'd like to think they would try to help you if you put an earlier date. I'm hopeful for you. I put the 1st of Feb for my travel date...I'm very very very optimistic!

I'll send everything off at a normal pace.. wait for Packet 3 to get here, send everything off, put travel date as June..

I'm half tempted to delay it just in case Bill can't get here in March so that I can squeeze in a last VWP (but I reallty would hate to do that again!)..

I think that I made a wrong decision to wait to send everything back when I got back from the States, I think I should have just sent the forms back and sent the check list in at a later date as they wont issue the interview till they get that, but to late now........

I will just have to wait to see when I get my interview, I had my medical in December so they now that I have not abandoned the petition and I am sitll well within the NOA2 date which expires in March.

So if I could do it again I would have sent the forms back and delayed sending back the check list, but I am sure it wont cause a problem for me

I thought that you could even have your medical on the same day as the interview and that they would just dleay issueing the visa pending the results
