Some say the case number is on the back of the cashed check. If it were, where might I find the number, since there are many numbers on the back of the check?

I don't know if I'm right, because I sent money order, but the number you need to look for starts with 3 letters - MSC followed by 10 digit numbers.

11/7 - Interview date. I wasn't approved, needed a co-sponsor

11/24 - Sent co-sponsor's I-134 to the US Consulate

Ok, I do see those seperate numbers on the two checks. Would bothe have the MSC prefix? I thought that was only for the EAD in Missouri?

All the people that file for AOS (including EAD and AP) have their receipt number starting with MSC. Some people explained this before here, but I just can't find the thread. So, yes, if you found the MSC#, this is your case number.
