2008 Tax Transcripts/Returns?

I may be interviewing between the date range of early Feb 09 to late March 09...I wanted to know if 07 tax transcripts are enough as the most recent ones to include with the I-134, or will the embassy be asking for the 2008 returns? Until when will they be accepting 07 returns as the most recent ones and when will they be looking for 2008 returns?

Anyone know?

You can usually get by without the most recent year until April. If it will help you, file the return and include it. You won't be able to get a transcript until perhaps June, so submit the complete return including all supporting documentation and schedules.

Since the deadline to file taxes is April 15th, you can show your 2007 tax transcripts or tax returns with corresponding W2s along with the I-134. If it's after the 15th, you need to either include these documents for 2008 or a copy of the extension you get from the IRS to file taxes at a later time during the year.

If I have 2006 and 2007 Tax returns will this be enough?
