lol.. I don't know about your dreams but I don't dream of eating a 40 dollar burger

What do you dream of?

And before you answer, remember - it's a dream. It can be anything.

Oh and it's late and I don't feel like puking. So no lovey dovey answers please. Thanks.

I want to travel.. yes I know that requires money but travel means more to me then things....

That's cool. Where would you like to go and what would you like to do there?

well first I would like to drive around the US... hubby's dream is to visit all the major baseball stadiums... i like seeing all the stupid touristy things along the way.. like the biggest ball of yarn etc..

They could make a National Lampoon movie out of you guys!

Did not infer that, but most people do not know how to properly prepare most of the foods they desire. You may not be included in this analysis.

You talk like the dude who writes disclaimers on loan applications.

Nope, not my career path. Try again....

Naah. I lack perseverance. I try once and then I quit.

I usually spend about $60 to $70 at most per week for groceries. I shop around town for the lowest prices and usually make about 3 or 4 stops. Aldi is great for inexpensive fresh veggies!

And we don't go out to restaurants much, because we don't have the money for it. Hubby isn't working, and my weekly wages are pathetic. I'd much rather eat at home anyhow. There's really only one restaurant in town now that's worth bothering with, the rest is ####### fast foods.

we are probably in the $60.00 range adding 1-2 meals eating out each week (which we are trying to curb these days). That's for 2 people..

And I use coupons for all our hygiene products and end up spending almost nothing for deo, toothpaste, shampoo etc. as a result.. coupons are hit and miss for us for groceries.. we aren't into prepackaged food that much (those are the items most likely to have coupons)..

runs about $150 a week here.

yup. we spend around $130-160 a week for the 2 of use and the 2 cats, food + hygiene + cleaning, etc. we buy snacks for work and rarely eat out or eat fast food (well, didn't use to but lately i have been eating more fast food in a month than i usually do in a year), but that doesn't really count if I look back pre-pregnancy i was still spending the same.

I have to confess if money was an issue i could do way better. i don't look for things on sale, i stick to the list and buy exactly the brands i want, specially when it comes to lowfat, lowcarb stuff. Of course a few things that brand doesn't really make difference i buy whatever is cheaper. And we indulge ourselves with expensive steaks, expensive deli stuff, etc.

Eating out is overrated in most cases, depending on the restaurant type and class.

I just become too frugal or cheap or something. If I can make it at home for cheaper, there is no way I will pay six times more for it in a restaurant. It just ruins the whole experience for me as it seems like such an incredible waste of money.
