Have had a beard for over 30 years and shaved it once 4 years ago and it scared the piss out of me, looked in the mirror and thought my father had came back to haunt me. Trim only never to be completely shaved off again. with beard mid to late 50s without breard add 20+ years. Sharon prefers the beard too much of a diference without.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

I'm unsure, being a girl, what falls into the "beard" category and what's considered stubble and what's in between? I get very angry and upset (vocally) if my husband shaves his entire face. I don't like looking at him with no hair because he looks like a 15 year old kid and it freaks me out. (He's 27) I'm 25 and most of my friends in my age group don't like facial hair on their man, but it just seems strange to me when the hubster shaves it off. However, keep in mind that I'm also married to an Arab and trying to keep a clean shaved face is an uphill battle for him. He shaves and literally a few hours later, it's hard to tell he ever shaved it. So I voted I like the facial hair, but then again he trims it and I've only seen him a few times with what some would call a "beard".

So is this a beard or not? lol And for those of you that do not like it, is it because you don't like how it feels or because the actual look of it is a turn off?

I'm not used to nor do I like body hair.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

My husband is very very zexy when he has a beard but unfortunately his work doesn't allow it. He gets sent home if he even has the slightest bit of stubble. :crying:

Does he complain that all the shaving is killing his face? Jihed worked a job that lasted for like em, a week, lol and he had to shave his face and after a few days it was just killing him. The most expensive razor we could find and high quality everything did little for him. I thought he was being a baby until I saw the aftermath of a straight week of every day shaving. I got this bump stopper stuff that a friend of mine at work suggested. He's a black guy and he said he's got the same problem having to shave and the stuff it does to his skin is horrible and only this black magic stuff fixed it. We had some success with it, but he still prefers just not shaving :star: He loves that the place he works at now told him to grow a mountain man jack beard if he wanted, they don't care lol

I said "other". I don't care either way, some people with beard look nice, some without beard look nice too, no preference really.

My husband has a beard (not too bushy either, I usually make him trim it before it gets too big), I think he looks better when his facial hair is half an inch long. When he shaves it it's a little too short, then he lets it grow a little too much unless I remind him to trim it once a month, but in between it's perfect :)

Wow I see the difference you mean! Amazing what facial hair can do. I think the beard looks good on him. Well I guess it's not a full beard, but that look he has certain guys can pull off.

I told him his head is too square and that he needs the beard to hide it :P
