Sad situation to take your own life. Obviously money doesnt buy happiness or health. Hopefully his family doesnt kill each other over who gets the money.

Committing suicide isn't necessarily a sign of a weak mind. Many suicides are sparked from severe depression.

Without starting a flame war, I believe this is a weak mind. I have had many a cause for depression in my life, but pulled the F out of it; without drugs, counseling or any other assistance. We control our own destiny, in terms of self gratification, happiness and so forth. The mind is a powerful instrument and "we can" control it's direction.

So are you saying that the physicians and scientists who say some people have chemical imbalances that make them deviate from normal behavior is just rubbish?

Admittedly, I don't know enough about the subject, but I'd like to hope that people don't act insane or depressed just because they're too lazy to use their brain.

Insanity: Is another issue altogether.

Depression: I am sure there are legit cases, but some have situational issues, and act wrongly upon them. Case in point above.

We tend to look at it from where we are (non-billionaires). There can be a lot of responsibility that comes with that kind of money.

For all we know, he could have been devastated by the thought of having to effect his many employees. I mean, with that kind of an empire,

a lot of families depend on you. Again...just guessing from a small business owner's point of view.

Perhaps. But I submit that once you are financially successful in an excessive way, it's time to open a bar in Bali and sustain losses there with friends harboring that kind of dough.

Plan for success, not only financially, but in terms of overall happiness.

I would have held an untouchable nest-egg just for this purpose. Billionaire? How could you be broke enough to off yourself?
