You need to wait for Biometrics appt letter, it will have different receipt # on it. NOA1 receipt # doesn't work for "online status check"

Good luck

Yes, what receipt number are you using? If it is the NOA extending the status of your green card that case number is only an internal number and you won't be able to access any information using that through the Online Status update. You need to wait for the Biometrics Appointment letter. It will have a different number and that one is accessible through the USCIS status update. You should get the biometrics letter approximately a month after your receipt.

if you do call and it works after that, can you do a post? i'm in the same boat (yes, i'm using the biometrics appt. number, not the NOA number) and it's been like that since Sept. I've not bothered calling yet as we all know nothing will really happen for 10-11 months.

Aww, thank you!

Well, I will move to the Citizenship forum after I get the conditions removed on my green card. I hope it will be any day now - I filed last February. I am eligible to apply for citizenship the end of February so I expect you will see more of me in that forum around that time.

What is the number written on the cleared check image that shows up in my bank account? It's a hand written number that starts with EAC. Is that not the receipt number that can be entered into the Online Status webpage?
