My husband and I are still waiting. I'm not a patient one, but this process sure is teaching me patience.

Until then we go back and forth every three months.

And what's up with Vermont? They are slower than the molasses their trees produce. The processing timelines haven't been updated on their site since Nov 18th.

Are you guys actually getting in touch with "humans" at the VSC? How? I was on the phone for over 2 hours one day and could never get through to a human. Its a constant barrage of computerized phone messages and menus that don't even help you. Sometimes I wonder with everybody calling all the time if it just slows the whole process down. My wife has been gone since Oct 08. I saw her for a couple of weeks over the holidays, it was tough to leave. Although we've been married since 29 Aug, we've only been together for about 2 months. It's just frustrating that in our first year of marriage, we'll be lucky to see eachother for 3 months. I wish the VSC could just hire about 100,000 more people and file about a million packages a day, then maybe we would be in business.

Seems like these people are not doing anything... even after the holidays. I am wondering if they are just chit-chatting about their vacation instead of doing some work.

And other hand, CSC get more application compare to VSC and they still on target date. VSC sucks!!!

Thanks to Nich-Nick, it is useful link.

Contact your congressman and ask them to inquire about your case. They can at the very least, verify that your case is there and not lost.

I called the USCIS yesterday on the 800 number. I got a really nice guy who went out of his way to answer ALL of my questions and he actually put me on hold to find out information for me. He got back on the line and told me to call back and talk to a CSR. I took his advice. I called and spoke to a CSR. She took my information and told me someone would be in touch with me within 5 days.

Less than 2 hours later I received an e-mail asking for documentation from them. I was shocked !!

What is the CSR? Sorry, I don't know about CSR.
