hello everyone,

i sent my forms in on 1/24/09. I was a nervous wreck cuz i was scared i may have made a mistake somewhere. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and praying to God that the whole process goes well andfast!

it took me like a week to have a hardcopy of NOA1 in hand. but once uscis clear your check, you can register in the uscis for status. wish all luck...

I overnighted our I-129F package on 1/27, VSC receiving it on 1/28 and my check cleared yesterday!! Now I'm going to be checking the mailbox obsessively until I get the NOA1...

This is exciting, but I'm soooooo impatient...this is going to be the longest year of my life...lol

I am still waiting for my hard copy of NOA1 but it was mailed on 1/23 and my check was cashed on 1/27. I got the receipt number form the back of the copy of my check and registered on USCIS website and now I can see my progress. Slow now, but one day at a time! Good luck and speedy process to all!!

That's what I did too...I got the case number off the back of the check. How were you able to tell when the NOA1 was mailed? the USCIS website isn't saying that for mine. Hopefully we're on the same timeline!

Basically is gives your receipt number (what's on your check), case type, amount $ received, the NOA1 date, your names and then states that they are confirming that they have received your petition and processing times vary, you can check your case online, yada yada...

If you login on their website and check that receipt number from the check, you can see a note saying that they have mailed your letter and that date and then see any 'touches' on the date showing 'last updated.'
