Just want to share our great news. I had my interview this morning and was approved!!!:dance::dance:

Less than 5 weeks after NOA2!!!

So everyone that just got NOA2, it DOES go a lot quicker after NOA2!

I'm thinking of and crossing my fingers for everyone that's still waiting for NOA2. I hope you are next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!

I am back to my country to get my papers in order for the interview. Apparently they received the fax I sent on Monday, since this morning my fiancée received an e-mail from the Consulate saying that I can apply for the medical examination and interview starting from next week. LET'S GO!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Best of luck to everybody with pending cases. Hang in there guys, you're all gonna make it! :star:

I just checked my mailbox and got a letter from NVC saying they have our approved petition and will process and forward it to the consulate within a week. After the NOA2 comes, things really speed up! i'm hoping and praying everyone on here gets theirs this week. i called the embassy in Trinidad and asked them about processing times once they get it and was told six weeks, start to finish. i really cant believe after all this waiting , she will actually be here.

Hang in there guys...it seems Vermont is working in spurts, yours has to be coming..........

Just wanted to pass this info along to help. Good Luck!

TIP: How to track your case from NVC to Embassy:

When you know from NVC that your case was forwarded to embassy (mm/dd/yyyy) lets take an example case that was forwarded to embassy on March 20th 2009.

1 ~ Go to DHL TRACK

2 ~ Under track list, click on Track By Reference

3 ~ Type the reference in this format: EXP19MAR2009A and click track.

4 ~ A list of packages will come up and you can search for the city of your Consulate and it will show details.

(This worked for me and I was lucky that there was only 1 for Casablanca. ~Jan~)

Thanks so much! really appreciate that! i am amazed a how fast things are moving now after going at a snails pace before. I just got the hard copy NOA2 on Monday. Wed[ yesterday] a letter from NVC saying in a week the case goes out. I feel really good right about now, but i want the other filers on here to have that feeling too. Really hope some more approvals happen this week......

Yes I agree, everyone deserves to be together as soon as they can be. We all know how hard this process is to endure but WE WILL get through it and the future will be worth every second we've waited! Check my post just before this, I corrected something in the steps.

Also I want to say that having Visa Journey and the forums and information here, is truly a blessing for everyone. Bravo! to the person(s) who gave this asset to us!

Okay so I know Im not at my 6 month mark yet but this process is beginning to make me feel so hopeless. It looks as if more and more February filers are getting their approvals while some of us from January are still waiting. Dont think my NOA2 will ever come... :(

It will come, really!!!

It is awkward, but I am almost feeling guilty coming in here and sharing how fast things can go once you have that second NOA.

A week ago my fiancé got the NOA in his mailbox and today I already received package 3 from the consulate.

Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you guys.

Nah don't feel guilty. You are the guys who help us through the ordeal and remind us that the NOA2 is coming. If it wasn't for you guys, this forum would be just filled with people like me, complaining, cursing, and whining. Good to know that you guys are there.

This just in........

You should feel guilty  I'm only joking, I'm happy that some couples out there are getting what they deserve and want, maybe we will be one of those lucky ones one day. Congrats on getting and best of luck with the interview and getting you stuff sorted out.
