That is good new. Maybe my Congressman was right. I was told mine was approved on 5/13, but I still haven't heard anything. I will be looking for it on Monday or Tuesday. I have my fingers crossed.

But on May 11th at 4:31 PM CST, I called CIS for the first time.

Had to manuever the maze of options to actually talk to someone, but it ended up being a call center employee who made a big point that he could not disclose his location.

He was patient and friendly, but simply gave canned responses and echoed the fact that I had no email updates or touches as seen by looking at our case online status......pending and under review.......

Came home finally today to find an envelope dated 5-13-09 with our NOA2 issued on May 8th.

I thought I might stop breathing for a moment and my fiancee could not stop crying........107 days.

Good luck, have patience and faith and of course above all else........LOVE.....good luck to us all......

Congrats! My NOA1 date was Jan 23 so I am getting anxious seeing all the people around my date starting to get their NOA2's. I am praying everyday that I find the letter in my mail since it seems they are not updating the USCIS website or sending emails. I hope they resolve that issue soon. Good luck to you and all others as well.

Congrats again! see what i said about calling uscis? scripted responses and no real help- heck they basically read to you what you could read yourself online. i really am happy for those getting their approvals. Good luck and Godspeed on the rest of the journey

They forgot us too! Maybe 1/12 are in the same closet?

I was P!$$3d off that we did not file sooner. Now I'm thinking I should have waited another week or 2 considering how many people at the end of the month have approvals already.

(Happy for you all but you have no idea how frustrating it is to see those approvals for petitions filed after ours) I hate this and I want it over. I want to breathe again.

I want to call them again but it does no good. They will just tell me what I read online, even though I let the guy know last time that according to VJ there have been several approved who filed after me. For as much money as we shell out for this you would think they could be a bit more informative. Or at least check and make sure they even still have our petitions and when we can expect them to be processed. I just dont understand how people who file after you are getting approved and while ours are still sitting there. I mean what is it? What is their logic in the processing? Im getting so frustrated.. Im to the point of wanting to cry now...

I have another question if anyone knows: Is there a certain number of visa's they issue out for each country a year? I have been thinking about that and it worries me- what if they reach their quota at the embassy before we get a interview and already know they will deny before he gets there because of that. I have heard something about this somewhere before. Maybe Im just stressing and thinking to much...

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO GOT APPORVED! WE ARE STILL WAITING...HOPE OURS TOO WILL BE THIS WEEK. HEHE! BEEN FOLLOWING JAN AND RACHID'S NAME HERE ON IGOR'S LIST! NOA2!!!! WHERE ART THOU!

THIS JOURNEY HAS BEEN A BLESSING!I GOT SO ANXIOUS WITH THE MEDICAL EXAM SO I DECIDED TO GO HAVE MY THYROID CYST REMOVED 3 WEEKS AGO AND FOUND OUT I HAVE PAPILLARY CARCINOMA (GUYS, NOT TO WORRY HEHEHEHE! PROGNOSIS IS EXCELLENT) JUST GONNA HAVE THE REST OF THE THYROID REMOVED THIS WEEK AND THEN HAVE THE RADIOADCTIVE IODINE3-6 WEEKS AFTER SURGERY. WHICH MEANS, HEHEHE NOT SO MUCH IN A HURRY FOR THE NOA2 BUT STILL..WAAAAHHH WOULD LOVE TO HAVE IT SOON, LESS THING TO WORRY.. AND I MISS MY HUBBY!

JUST WORRIED WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO BE WITH MY HUBBY AFTER THE RADIOACTIVE IODINE...DUNNO WHEN WILL THEY ALLOW ME TO TRAVEL..OH WELL...HEHEHHE! MISSED Y HUBBY SOO MUCH AND I MISSED TRAVELLING TOO.....

MsTam, from what I understand, there is no limit to spousal based visas. But there are limits to many other types of visas.
