I didn't see January'09 K-1 filter. So i decide to create one. Share your thought.

Anyone sent out K-1 in January'09?

I am. sent I-129F on 1/5/09

VSC K1 & N400 Timeline:

1/05/2009 Sent I-129F, G-325A + other documents as required. $455 fee
1/09/2009 NOA1 Petitioner received
4/30/2009 NOA2 Petitioner received (approved in 105 days from NOA1 3.5months)
6/08/2009 Packet 3 Petitioner received
6/20/2009 Packet 4 Petitioner received, mail everything from above forms & I-134 plus other doc as required for beneficiary
7/23/2009 Interview @ 7am, Interview passed- visa pick up July 31st

9/13/2009 Arrived in JFK
9/15/2009 Applied for Marriage License $40
9/29/2009 Applied SSN (bring SS-5, Passport, & I-94). Went to local County District Court for Marriage License $38.50 fee... Officially Marriage. Received SS card in less then 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, apply for State Photo ID

5/07~ Fell in Love

5/29/07 ~ Officially a couple

9/15//07-09/22/07 ~ His first visit

12/29/07 - 1/12/08 ~ His second visit

4/25/08 - 5/5/08 ~ His third visit

5/4/08 ~ Engaged !

8/30/08 ~ 9/6/08 ~ His fourth visit

12/23/08 ~ 01/17/09 ~ His fifth visit

01/06/09 ~ K-1 finally filed!!!!

04/10/09 ~ 5 days in London, then 10 days with the in-laws to be in France!

I overnight mine on the the 5th of Jan and now I think my mail got lost some where. With all the headach of the form and now the mail problem.. Bad time for me. hopefully they can find my mail.

VSC K1 & N400 Timeline:

1/05/2009 Sent I-129F, G-325A + other documents as required. $455 fee
1/09/2009 NOA1 Petitioner received
4/30/2009 NOA2 Petitioner received (approved in 105 days from NOA1 3.5months)

6/20/2009 Packet 4 Petitioner received, mail everything from above forms & I-134 plus other doc as required for beneficiary

I'm sending ours in either tomorrow or Friday. Eeeek! Really nervous that I'm going to mess something up.

Our Timeline

11/2001 - met online

6/2006 - first face-to-face meeting (he's been over 7 times total since then).

1/26/09 - filed I-129F with VSC

1/27/09 - package rec'd, NOA1 sent

1/30/09 - NOA1 hardcopy rec'd

1/31/09 - touched

4/29/09 - NOA2 email rec'd from CRIS! YIPPEE!!

5/12/09 - Mark rec'd Packet 3

5/29/09 - returned packet 3

7/12/09 - resubmitted packet 3 after being told for weeks that it was never rec'd

8/19/09 - interview scheduled for 9/11/09! Medical moved to 9/10/09.

9/10/09 - medical - passed

9/11/09 - interview - approved pending embassy receipt of medical results!!!!!!! Hard to believe it's finally done!!

10/2/09 - POE: Logan Airport in Boston, MA. Absolutely no problems, aside from the customs official not knowing what to do with the visa and having to find someone to help.

10/10/09 - Married!! :D :D :D

12/2/09 - SSN applied for in Montpelier, VT

12/7/09 - SSN received in the mail - that was fast!

1/9/2010 - AOS & EAD package sent

1/15/2010 - NOA's received for both AOS and EAD applications

1/22/2010 - biometrics appointment letter rec'd - appt is for 2/2 in St. Albans, VT.

Just out of curiousity, some of you have signatures with timelines, and sometimes they have a date and say "touched"...what does that mean? This is all new to me...:)

once you get noa1 or in some cases you can get your case number off the back of you check if your bank gives you that information. once you have that number you creat a long in on uscis site https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/caseStatusSearc...VEa9pkFb22hq06r you can put your case number in on that link or register at this link https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/selectusertype.jsp for updates. Once you have that done you can check the status of your case and sign up for email alerts. When they work on your case as the service center or move the file for some reason they scan the bar code on the folder your case is in. When ever they do this you can see activity, it will only so like a date and will not tell what they were doing but that is what is called a touch. I hope i explained this ok. Good Luck
