Hi All,

Help is required as I am so confused in this NVC process.. Please Please reply soon...

Brief Background : I am US Citizen and filing for my Parents (INDIA - BMB) under IR-5 category. I got I-130 approval. Paid both AOF and IV fees (Online). I am working as their agent here based in US.

Now today my parents in India receiced a letter from NVC about CHECKLIST which says :

Missing document list for : <Name>

DS-230-I

As an agent I haven't received any letter / form yet from NVC. Also I havn't sent IV fee cover sheet to NVC. Do I need to send cover sheet to NVC?

My confusion here is - What I need to send to NVC ? Do I need to send just DS-230 with my parents sign. ? OR I need to send DS-230 with all Civil documets + Photos of my parents ?

Thanks a lot

The NVC is asking for the DS-230 along with all civil documents since you already paid the IV Bill. Your parents will need to fill out and sign Part I of the DS-230 and send you all civil documents needed. You can find the list here and here.

Since you also paid the AOS fee bill already, you will also have to send them the I-864 with your financial information as soon as they say that they have generated it. You will have to speak to a rep to find out if it was generated already.
