Spending more than $35 for a meal for two seems a lot to me (especially in this economy).

Jose Tejas (our favourite place) you can get the most expensive thing on the menu and the most it will cost you is around $35 for two. Pretty much the only time we splurge on a meal is somewhere like Legal Seafood, which averages about $60 for two. But we don't do that often - special occasions etc.

It is a very good place - but we pretty much never go there in the evening, just gets too crowded (I don't have the patience for an hour-long wait for a table). Pretty much the only time we go where you're guaranteed to get a table without a long wait - is early lunchtime on weekends.

Yeah we had that with a Thai restaurant on Morris Ave. Good food but a total SOB to find a spot.

well their big variety of ribs gives them pedro points.. cuz you can't never go wrong with ribs, ever...

the other stuff.. yea,, it has the 'typical' brisket and oh so mexican chimichangas.. but i have to say the menu is very creative, the soups are sorta mexican...

mhh ribs and guac..
