Oh don't worry. I eventually did my Bios after the interview since I never received a letter about that. Unfortunately I have now spent 180 dollars for my EAD that I never received.

Removal of Conditions Timeline:

03/19/2008 - package sent to TSC, let's hope for the best

03/20/2008 - check cashed

03/26/2008 - case sent to Vermont Service Center

04/17/2008 - Biometrics scheduled

05/19/2008 - received I551 extension stamp via INFOPASS

02/12/2009 - APPROVED

02/21/2009 - GC received...no mistakes...valid until 2019

hi, we submitted out AOS last August 12, and apart from the NOA didnt hear again until April for a Biometrics appointment at the start of May. As I didnt submit EAD or AP, I just waited, then finally in May I was emailed that my case was transferred to CSC. so... it seems anything is possible..

Did you get an online account so you can check?

NOA 1 arrived dated Aug 12, 2005 number on it differs by 1 digit from that on reverse of check so USCIS site now reflects the process

K2 needs EAD before SSN number will be assigned

Touched August 24 2005

Biometrics Appt letter arrives April 24 2006

Transfer to CSCE notified by email May 26 2006

Touched May 27 2006 then 6/7/8/9th June

Biometrics 2nd Appt for June 23

Welcome letter Mailed June 13 notified by email, arrives June 17 2006

Biometrics for Photo June 23

Touched June 23

June 24 Email from CRIS - Your card will be mailed as soon as it is ready

June 27 touched

June 28 Email your application was approved June 28

June 29 2006 Touched

GREENCARD

July 21 2006, Neighbour brought letter. Green Card 06/08/2006 no errors on it, was delivered to wrong mailbox, so I cancelled infopass for July 24 in Miami

USCIS and I have a date Mar 10 2008 to mail I-751

Yes, I signed up for one so we can track our progress. Does it say that they sent a mail about our biometrics? If so, I will rest easier. I believe if any mail gets sent back, it does show up on our account. Unofrtunately, we have a mail contractor (someone who isn't a USPS employee) and they are untrained so we have had a ton of mail sent back. I am considering changing to my PO Box.

Not even the USPS is able to deliver all the mail. My online status for EAD still states that a letter was sent back undeliverable by the USPS on March 21, 2006 and a week or so later I got the invitation for the interview and the other letter never made it although I have started two inquiries. WEll, now I don't really care anymore since I had my interview this week. As I said, don't worry about it. You will get it it might just take a while.

I didnt receive it too!!! :(

The thing is: I read on this board b4 that if the appointment got lost in the mail, and you dont show up for biometrics, they consider you abandoned the process... Thats very nice because nobody on the Misinformation line can tell you if they mailed you the letter or not! :wacko:

I DONT WANT TO PAY $385 TO REOPEN MY CASE OR SOMETHING!!!

Someone has some advice???
