also i know it is by email because my husband did not send the DS3032 till today

which is still in transit to VSC not there yet even

on other note, caracas still states that K-3 not there yet

hello. Wait hatter:) i have given application for two PCC. And two more remains. Wanted to ask you that should i wait to get all Pcc? Or just submit DS230 part one with other documents. One more thing.. According to that guide line it take 6 TO 8 week before interview call.. So can you tell me still approx how much time it will take for interview call..

My suggestion to you is dont submit the DS230 package if you dont have all the required documents because will get RFE and you end up waiting again. Let me give you my example, I submited my DS230 package without passport office pcc and now I got RFE(obiviusly) and I dont have my pcc yet so what happend is I end waiting about the sametime as if I were to submit all at once. So its totally your personally decision but this is my suggestion. Once your case is complete at NVC, they assign interview date on second week of everymonth for following month. I dont have exact time how long it will take for interview date to take place because most consulates are busier then others and it also depends on when your case is completed plays big role. My prediction is if your case is completed in feb then most likely you will get april interview date for sure.

i will follow up on yr advice. the problem is i hv submited passport at passport office for clearance. they told me tht i'll get clearance and passport in post within two days. its not arrived yet. second thing i hv to get four clearances as i stayed at three different part of india since 16 ..since last four days i go for PCC and wait for 2 hours for sign on single documents..... lawyer says i'll hv to get all three clearances .. its goin to take 15 more days at least.. than my husband will submit all documents alongwith DS-230... also he'll submit i-864 too.. i think my case will finish in march and i'll come US finally in May ..my case is goin on speed of snail.. . my indian consulate is in mumbai..

I too stayed 5 different place in india after my age of 16. I have mailed and enquired about the same with chennai consulate. They says that I need to collect only two PCC 1. from the Local Police/Commissioner from the place where i am currently residing and 2. from the passport office where the passport was issued. Below is the exact reply i got from Chennai consulate..

Police Clearance Certificate is required from (a) the local/district police serving your current area of residence ( b ) passport office which has issued your passport, assuming that your passport was issued more than six months back. We also assume that you have not stayed outside India.

Now I have a question for anyone... The consulate in Rio de Janeiro sent me the appointment letter for the K-3. The interview will be on March 24th, and since my CR1 case is coming to an end at the NVC, I have high hopes that I'll be able to stick to that date. My question is: For the k-3 they ask me to bring to the interview all the documents I have already sent to NVC such as police certificates. Since I'm not going to take the K-3, do I have to worry about getting police certificates again? If my CR1 case does not arrive in Rio on time, I'm going to postpone the K-3 interview, but I'm really going for a CR1 interview so they should have all those documents, right? I don't know if it varies from consulate to consulate... Well, any ideas anyone?

Ok a little help please!!!

What is AOS and DS-3032 ?? My i-129f for a k3 visa was approved in January. Before i even knew it had been approved it was sent to NVC and forwarded to my consulate. I then e-mailed asking if they had recieved my case and they had so they e-mailed me my packet 3. Once i had completed the checklist and stuff i was able to e-mail them back and they set me up for an interview straight away. Passed my medical and now my interview is next week but i have no idea what everyone is talking about when they say AOS and DS-3032 and some bill or something.

What they are talking about is the AOS-is affidavit of support, DS-3032 - is the choice of agent form. Those apply to a I-130 petition. The AOS you have with a K-3 was the I-134 your spouse filled out. It's just different forms for different types of visa. and congratz and good luck on your interview. Best Wishes!
