Based on the link (LingChe's NVC ShortCut) provided by "CJ Vasani", I am going to compile documents for the AOS package as per the list provided in the link.

But I have question regarding one of the component (Assets) of I864 AOS package. Does any one of you own a property? Are you planning to submit photocopies of evidence of property ownership? If yes, what document can be submitted as evidence? Property Tax Bill from the township or Mortgage statements or county registeration?

Instead of making copies, I am going to scan all the documents and store them on 2 USB drives, also email the same to my email address so that I can access them from anywhere, just in case I am not carrying the USB drive.

Thanks as always for your help.

I do own property, but I am not planning on using that assets on my I-864 form. I am not sure which documents you have to provide to use property assets, but I am assuming property tax bill would work just fine, others can confirm this.

First of all, Congratulation on your approval and welcome aboard. I am not sure if k1 is process the same way as k3 at nvc, but I assume they do the same procedure. If you need more help on k1 process I think it would be good idea to start thread in k1 forum so, you get broad answer.

Good luck!

UPDATE:

No NVC case # yet. I have been calling them 3 times a day. I am not using the AVR.

The customer reps are telling me that it would take upto 90 days, which I know is not TRUE. That's the general ballpark range. But I am going to keep calling them till I get my case # and till I complete the subsequent process.

Received case number for both petition from NVC

Dear Waithatter,

Congratulations !

Surprisingly all my timelines are same as your .and yes, I got the approval on both petitions on Jan 04,2009.

So how did you come to know about your case number from NVC ? I called the NVC automated voice response number but they told me that I have to wait 2 to 4 weeks .is this the way ? can u please tell me what I should do now , keep calling ?

Thanks .

Savar,

I got my case number from NVC operator. Dont rely on AVR, always speak with NVC operator. Keep them calling 2 to 4 weeks is there canned answer for everyone. I called them about 5 to 6 times same day before I got my case number so, keep on trying. They should have your case number since you were approved on same day as I was.

Good luck,

Hey Waithatter,

Thanks for your reply. I called NVC many times yester day and the day before that but they kept saying that ,they didnot get my package . But Finally today I found from the AVR that, NVC assigned my case number. so it looks like we are still with in the same time line.

Good luck.

savar
