For the CR 1 part, we have to submit the DS-3032, I have to pay the AOS and then we have to send the IV-Packet which consists of DS-230 part I and II to NVC along with marriage certificate, police records, birth certificate, photocopy of passport, etc to NVC?

For the K-3 part, the consulate send my husband the packet 3 which includes DS-156, DS-156K, marriage certificate, birth certificate, photos, etc etc...and then once they received, the appointment is scheduled, right?

we've received approval notice on 23 jan. still not received the hard copy of approval for I-129 and I-130...

except PCC all documents are ready..the are not issuing PCC without approval letter and list.. what should we do next?

I have a similar question...Do I need to submit DS-156k or DS-157 for K3 along with DS-156? I am bit confused here...also, in this form example forms neither DS-156k nor DS-157 provides the info that I am married to a US citizen...please clarify my problem regarding this...please also see my thread K3:156 and 156k problem....

Well, K3 is not my ultimate destiny, it will only be used to get a better interview date.. so considering the situation, please help me out....

Also, just to let u know, Dhaka Embassy doesn't have a trend of sending packet 3 as I don't see any member of VJ from Bangladesh received Packet 3. So, I decided, as soon as my husband gets the letter from NVC saying him that they had already forwarded the case to Concerned Embassy, I will go with that letter along with my NOA2 to collect info about my Packet 3. NVC confirmed my husband over phone that it was sent to the Dhaka Embassy on January 23rd...So, embassy should have got by today...My hubby is yet to receive the letter....

Keep all approvals updated with your progress at NVC. I am planning to call NVC tomorrow to see if they received my files from VSC.

Great! Did NVC rep tell you when they shipped your I-129f to consulate? You can track on dhl website if you know the day they forwarded your file.

I've been trying to do this, but the instructions confuse me. NVC said they sent ours on the 12th but nothing shows up on DHL for any date

Try this, EXP 12 JAN 2009A

Then choose shipment date from 11 jan to 16 jan and track it. This should work.

Did you download packet 3 from net yourself and send it or did you wait to get the packet 3 from consulate and then mail it ? Also since I am having 2 employers

one primary and other secondary or part-time, should I send employment letters from both my employers or is it ok to send the same from just the primary employer ?

When do I pay the K3 bill? I am not sure, but I think Dhaka embassy is pointing me to pay the $131 with the packet 3. Is it the case for everyone? or I just pay it at the time of interview? If I have to pay $131 to schedule an interview, then I have enough doubt that I would be goin with it or not.....

Waithatter or anyone scheduled k3 interview with embassy, please clarify the case....

I downloaded packet 3 from mumbai consulate website and sent it. Dont wait for them to send you packet 3 since most likely you will not receive it. Also, you can send both employer letter or one is fine to as long as you are above poverty line.

Dont wait for your husband to receive letter from NVC, you can start calling dhaka embassy to inqurie about your case. If they receive your case go ahead and pick up packet 3 ASAP. And also since k3 is not your ultimate destiny, then you dont need to submit any of those form or visa fee you mentioned. Those forms are only to submit if you are pursuing k3 visa, but if you only want to get k3 interview date and convert that into cr1 then only send packet 3 checklist, and etc.

Yes, if ISL embassy have packet 3 on there website then you can downloaded. $131 fee is to submitted at the time of interview if you are pursing k3 visa.
