I have finally found a way to post something for the first time. Hi you all! I just read one member 's posting about CO requesting more evidence of relationship. It sounds familiar. My fiancee was told on her first interview in November that the consulate is short on staff (it doesn't sound American to me). On her second interview they want more letter mails and pictures of us together, although we have provided a ton of IMs, 2 letter mails, 5 pictures of us together and family members, emails, phone calls,..etc. But the CO wants more photos and letter mails. As you all know it takes weeks sometimes months for a snail mail to be received if ever. So I have decided to be with her at her third interview. It is frustrating to sit and wait not knowing what they will come up with next time.

This seems to be a recent trend of the Accra consulate to tell beneficiaries to come back with more evidence no matter how much initial evidence you show at the interview. A lot of the Ghana interviews lately.

Just provide them with what they ask and you should get the visa.

Good luck :)

I emailed the Ghana embassy to get a word-for-word strict guideline as to what "evidence" they want to see. The response was:

"I’m not able to give you a checklist of items as there is no one document or set of documents that a person can bring to the interview to be issued a visa; each case is considered as a whole based on the personal circumstances of each applicant as determined during the interview.

The applicant should bring information that supports the relationship."

Good Idea to attend the next interview because after the first and second and all the evidence I can bet the next thing they will tell your fiancee is to bring you to prove the relationship lol....so you going will minimize if not eliminate the chance for another interview....Good luck!:thumbs::thumbs:
