When did you find out? Been to a doctor yet? When are you due? Do you have any names picked out? love-smiley-029.gif

I took a home test about 1 week ago and then I went to the doctor this last Tuesday and found out for sure... I am due sometime in January, I think.. going to find out for sure next week... and yes, we have a few names picked out but no one is going to find out till after the baby is born....

I have a question for anybody who might know... I went to a regular family doctor to find out for sure and I just assumed they would do prenatal care... (that is what my mom did, the family doctor did the prenatal care and delivered the babies) Well, I found out that I need an OB-GYN for prenatal care... They did give me a referral but I don't want to use that doctor.. He isn't affiliated with the hospital we want to go to and I would also prefer a woman doctor, I just would feel more comfortable...

Well, my question is do I need a referral to see a OB-GYN? Through our healthcare site I found a couple female OB-GYN's I can choose from but I am not sure if I need a referral to see them... :unsure:

February 2011: Officially divorced.
June 18, 2011: He married the girl he had the last affair with.

August 2014: I am engaged with my real soulmate. Not an American.
