The current average wait time for Vermont is 11 months. Nothing else to do but wait.

You should have received a Notice of Action (NOA) receipt acknowledging that they received your package. This letter extends the validity of the conditional greencard for one year. If you do not receive one before the green card actually expires, make an Infopass appointment with your local USCIS office and get an I-551 stamp placed in your passport. That also extends your status for one year and is proof you are here legally. You shouldn't receive anything else until you either receive approval, an interview letter or possibly an RFE (Request for Evidence) when they start to review your application in about 11 months after filing. Good luck.

It's not nearly as bad as being apart for 11 months like we were for the K-3 visa!

Hi Mzap,

Now you wait....for the NOA (if you haven't received that yet)....or get a I-551 passport stamp if you don't get your NOA...and wait some more...for another 10-12 months or so at the "Very Slow Center" for your 10yr green card in the mail....(and in the meantime obsess about it on VJ... ...)

Meanwhile, carry around your expired 2yr green card and your NOA extension letter or passport with I-551 stamp, which extends your green card for 1 more year while they are processing your case. And don't be surprised if you get an RFE or be called for an interview while you are waiting (though that's kind of rare, unless you lack sufficient evidence, your case is a suspected fraud case, or you got "the luck of the draw" random quality control interview).

By the way, since you filed at the VSC, feel free to look and add your name and information to the following "VSC I-751 Status List", of other VJers who also filed the I-751 at the VSC, as this is helpful for everyone too. Thanks.

Hope this helps. Good luck on the rest of your immigration journey too.
