Here's my checklist PLUS my ?s... pls kindly read & help!!!! THANKS A LOT!!!

1. Payment (of course!) $325 + $70 biometrics fee

2. Cover letter/table of contents

3. Form I-485

4. non US citizen spouse passport copy (biographical page, entry stamps, k-1 visa, I-94)

7. 2 photos

8. G325 A

9. I-693/ I-693A??? (if i'm on K-1 visa... is it just 693 A? Do i submit it at the same time with the I-485 Application? Cuz for the k-1 application, i didnt need to do this so soon...)

10. I-864 & evidence (e.g. 3 yrs' tax return.... how about the form? is it required to be notarized?)

11. I-765 (incl payment of $180, 2 photos, I-94 front/back copy)

12. I-131 (incl payment of $ 170, 2 photos, passport biographical page...ANYTHING ELSE???)

You pretty much got it all.

Yes its just the I-1693A you send in as your medical is good for one year and send the I-1693A in with your package.

The I-864 does need to be notarized and only the most recent year's tax returns are needed (though some send in three to be safe)

I sent in the original certified copy, when i went to pick the marriage certificate up at the courthouse i got them to give me more than one copy of it. You could probably send in a photocopy of it though.

I am not sure of the I-765 or I-131 as i didnt file for that some hopefully someone else can help you there.

oh thanks jenn3539. Thanks for telling me. i dont remember i need to send in the NOA 2.

But now i'm confused about the notary thing. i read from another thread here... someone said that we no longer need to notarize the i-864... so now one of you said that i dont need to do so but then another said it's a must...?

You definitely must notarize the I-864. The only recent change in the I-864 instructions that I know of is that only the most recent tax return is required, rather than the past 3 years. The form still needs to be notarized.

i added a copy of my I 485 to the I765, also you need the copy of your NOA2 from visa and notarized the affidavit :)

09-14-2010 Boston's biggest ceremony of naturalization, I'm a citizen now! :)
