I need some additional clarification on I-130 form. Item 10 "Alien Registration Number" is the A number on naturalization certificate? Is this the same A number on G-325A form field "File Number"?

Also when I submit the firms should I bind everything together 2 hole punch and a binder?

As far as I can recall, the file number is not the same as alien registration number. I don't have the copy of our petition right now. But I think we put "N/A" for the alient reg number since I don't have one. We were advised to leave file number as "A" like it is.

We didn't bind anything together with staples since we were going to photocopy each page back and front. We just put them in exact order as indicated in the table of contents attached to our cover letter.

Wait for more answers. Others may know better than I do. You might want to hear from someone who's already been approved.

Good luck! :)

I did some good searches and multiple sources seem to indicate the the file number and alien registration number are the same

and that they are available from the naturalization certificate if you have one.
