Krikit...the team will be on Sparkpeople. There are TONS of teams on the website, and maybe it would be neat to have one just for us VJ Canadians! I looked for you last night on there and I typed in Krikit and I was like...nope, definitely not her! How about Crikey?

I guess I'll go set that team up, be back in a bit!

Hmmmm I wonder if your pages are on private, as I couldn't find Krikit OR xtinab. I'll see if the SparkTeam is on private and turn that off if it is!

I checked and the team is public so I'm not sure why it's not coming up in the search. I couldn't find it that way either. I invited Krikit, xtinab, and Kathryn to join the team. Hopefully we can figure out how to work this thing!

Also, have you ladies set up SparkPages yet? Your usernames won't come up unless you have SparkPages, or at least that's the only place I've actually been able to search for users. You can look mine up, my username is TaktyxsGirl if you want to see what I'm talking about. Just click on the SparkPages tab and use the search function there.

I know pride is sinful, but I can't contain myself!! I have increased my morning walk each morning and really put in the extra effort to do one other cul-de-sac on the route. I thought yesterday that I really don't know how far I'm walking each morning now though. So, I got a pedometer a few months ago, and the thing is a piece of #######. I took my GPS out with me, but the screen turns off automatically, unless you're holding the device. So, I hopped into my truck and drove the two routes I take. One is 2.5 miles, the other 2.4. WOW! That may not seem like a lot for some people, but prior to October, I think I maybe walked 10 min. a day to and from my car to a store! I'm so happy.

Gene got me an MP3 player for my walks so I could listen to music, but I discovered that the library has free digital downloads of audiobooks, and that I can access these on-line from home. I downloaded a book, A Girl Who Married a Lion, and other stories from Africa (amazing book!!), and I LOVE it! For me, much nicer than music. I walk and walk, and don't even realize how far I'm walking now. I used to walk and read in my younger years, but looking at a book and walking is treacherous now that I'm over 50.

I also weighed myself yesterday and I'm an official 25 pounds lighter.
