I detoxed/stocked the kitchen with healthier choices than McDonalds drive-thru. That was the first step. Next step is to get off the couch. It is 27 degrees and dark out, so I don't see any outdoor activities happening today. I just CANNOT believe I blurted out I would do this! My company is TOTALLY goal oriented and there is no such thing as making a goal and not achieving it.

This is one of the mottos on the wall in the meeting room "In order to exceed your wildest expectations, you must HAVE wild expectations." Well, my fat azz running 3 miles is one WILD and CRAZY expectation! Oh, and the 5K run in June, starts at 8am, with a prayer....lol they better have a prayer AND an ambulance. :P

Jackie!! I'm sorry I saw this so late but I wanted to say I think what you are doing is AWESOME and per what you said about the crappy weather and such - I just wanted to recommend Leslie Sansone's Walk away the Pounds. I've written about it before on VJ but it's really great and even if you aren't trying to lose weight, it's still a great dvd. There is the 1, 2 and 3 mile walk. I think there might even be a 4 mile power walk out now but the BEST part is that it's at home, right in front of your TV or laptop (where ever you play DVDS) and the times are short - 1 mile 15 minutes, 2 miles, 30 minutes, 3 miles 45 minutes. If you did her program for a few weeks, it might get you through some of that nasty winter weather until you can get outside and prep you for the running part!

http://www.amazon.com/Leslie-Sansone-Pound...5624&sr=8-4

That package on Amazon is the 1st DVD - the one and 2 mile walk and the 2nd dvd that has the 3 mile walk and a bonus stretch dvd. I have it and if Annie's hubby Hazem can teach me how to copy things that aren't supposed to be copied  I'll mail you it!

PS Aaron even gets in front of the TV and walks walks walks power walks with me it's funny lol. Jihed mostly just makes fun of the people on the video LOL She has a range of people from like 25 to 75 walking with her so he points and laughs
