DS230 part 1 and part2

Hello Everyone,

Please can anyone make me clear that, who will receive DS230 part 1 & 2.? and who will complete it and where to send ?

I am beneficiary from India. My choice of Agent is my wife is USA.

You will....

I remember that you were trying to get your PCC from Gujrat....

Fill the DS230.... ( Part 1 n Part 2 are part of the same form)

attach your

1. Covering letter

2. Barcode Receipt ( or your wife ca attach it when she prints it online)

3. Two (2) Passport Size Photographs of Beneficiary (NVC Case Number, beneficiary’s full name, and date of birth are written on back of both)

4. DS-230 Part 1 completed and signed by beneficiary

5. DS-230 Part 2 completed by beneficiary – unsigned, as of yet, per instructions

6. Photocopy of the Biographic Data Page(s) of Beneficiary’s Passport

7. Original Birth Certificate of beneficiary

8. Original Marriage Certificate

9. Original Police Clearance Certificate for Beneficiary

10. Divorce Certifiacte if any

Send all this to your wife, she can send it to NVC when she has paid the Packet 4 fee

yes Aman..i am the same who trying to get PCC from gujarat..thanks for your help but NVC will send DS230 to whom ? me or choice of agent in USA.? NVC will not going to send it to both !!!

and what is covering letter ?? do we have to write it or it is there is packet ?

and as per my information, i dont have to send DS230 part2 ...is that so ? or DS230 part2 also send with part1 and other document ?

and if i attach certified photocopy of all document then, will it be ok? and i will show original at the time of Interview. ?

The beneficiary will receive DS-230 and will fill & sign it. Only Part I is signed. Part II will be signed at the interview.

One common error is the from/to date where you are currently living. Fill in from MM/DD/YY to 'Present' instead of the current date.

Peter you need not wait for NVC to send it to either one of you, Just download the same from NVC website , or wiki.....and fill it....also You ahve to fill part 2, just don't sign it

The covering letter is also a part of the wiki, you can download it from there

James Shortcuts may be out of date a bit.

There's a new requirement to include photocopies of all original or certified document copies.

Check the official NVC website or the LingChe guide.

James Shorcuts for creating the barcoded cover-sheet, are the best I've seen.

If ur wife is ur choice of agent then she will be asked to send the form ds-230 and also iv bill fee which is $400.
