Hi, Ok, my husband's expiration date is Feb 14, 2009. If we file before Jan 14, we are still ok and within the 90 days prior right?? When is the very last day to file to meet the requirements? Also, how long does it take to process this form? Will he recieve a new green card by or before his actual expiration date? andrea

You have to be VERY carefull as USCIS goes by date of receipt . NOT date of mailing. Some people have got in deep da kine when the mail got delayed. If you are late they will send the entire package back. You have to have a GOOD excuse for being late or face deportation!

If feb 14 is the expiration day, I would say file ASAP and at max before 1st week of Feb.

In CSC, its taking abt 4-5 months to get approval but once you file it, your husband will get letter for the extention of his card for one more year so that he is covered while the process is going on....
