I just feel so helpless...we filed our I-130 in April 2008, received an NOA1.....and still nothing!

We also sent in our I-129f about June/July, got it back (that was a heart stopper, thankfully only missing a signature...) sent it back, then received a "thank you we got your papers".

We haven't heard a thing! I wish we could at least know a general "time line" of when things are going to get rolling. Ok, I'm venting, any other sufferers out there?

So I know for the future....what happens after the I-130 (or the I-129f) is approved? It goes quickly after that right?

Thanks for listening

Hi, I am here and would like to have the privilage of providing some info to you.

1) USCIS barely updates its website, so don't rely on them much. Current trend says they are working on April Filers and looking on to you timeline you seemed to be approved anytime soon (May be within couple of weeks or so).

2) Once you are out from the USCIS, you usually get the steering. With the NVC process, you may be able complete it within 2 weeks by following the WIKI guides and normal process may take 6-8 weeks... Once your case is successfully completed u r given a date for interview, which is more or less a month later than the date of NVC case completion.

My information should be backed by the specialized though

Thank you

Sonia
