NVC completed the processing Package sent to home country

Hey Guys,

I heard this on the voice message today:

NVC has completed the processing and package has been sent to Nepal on jan 02, 09. I did not expect this to be done though...

I had paid for my IV fee and sent the AOS package one week back. I still have to send DS-230. Now I hear this. I had applied for expedite in USCIS which was approved and applied one in NVC too (didn't know it is approved or not though). Not sure if DS-230 both part will be filled in the embassy in my home country iteself? Or will they send it back to NVC again? Anyone with such experience? Thanks for taking time in reading this and any info is appreciated.

Wish I knew what is going on - this is wierd that they would send anything to KTM before case is complete. I hope someone with more knowledge can answer you.

Good luck and I am just behind you - I got my IRS transcripts yesterday so will reply to the RFE I got - sent DS-230 on 12/31 so they are just waiting on that I-864 RFE. Once that is in then it will be our turn to wait.

I will call NVC tomorrow and find out... hoping they will do the processing of DS-230 I and II in Kathmandu itself (granting my request for expedite).
