I have already filed my I-30 with CSC etc, got my NOA1. However, I got bored one day and just called the Consulate General in Fiji asking them if I can file DCF (I-30) with them and they said I could. Even though I am living here in the USA.

My husband and I were married in Fiji and he is a resident of Fiji. Does anyone know if I can do this? Even though I already filed here in the USA.

I don't see why not. If nothing else you could probably cancel the one you sent in and then just file the DCF.

You can do if Fiji allows DCF.

I know nothing about DCF but just wanted to say it's nice to see another Pacific Islander on the forum! My husband is Polynesian (from the Solomon Islands). Good luck to you and your husband!

You would need to find out and confirm the residency requirements for the USC in Fiji as this will determine if you are eligible.
