Hello all, I looked around and could not find any information in reference to the questions I have. The case number for my fiance includes her daughter. I have a couple of questions -

Does the daughter also need to be at the interview ?

Do they need a letter from the Father giving permission for the child to leave the country ?

The father and my fiancee were never married, they never went to court in to make any arrangments for the child. My fiancee has sole custody of her daughter.

Do we need any additional paperwork for her daughter ?

Thanks!!!! Jorge

For one! Daughter must have a medical and interview.

Laws for parental consent vary in different countries.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Consulate specific... many consulates the age is 14 or over for interview...

YMMV

Thanks so much for the replies. Did no mention that her daughter is 6, I beleive because of her age she will not need to go for the interview, but we will check with the consulate just in case. As far as the medical and any permissions from the father I think we'll go ahead and do that. It is better to have and not need then need and not have.

Thanks again, Jorge
