According to their website they are working on petitions from March 2008.

:wow:

I forgot to add that date is for VSC and is as at Sep 2008. CSC are six months. They have yet to update the processing times.

Well actually, according to their website, as of *SEPTEMBER 30, 2008* they were working on petitions from March 2008. They don't really update their information frequently (unless you are using the age of the earth as a reference!).

From the timelines posted on VJ, it seems they are working on August and starting on September, but as always, your mileage may vary, and USCIS may or may not leave any given application in the box until last....

We haven't as yet. We filed Sept 1st '08. Received NOA1 Sept 11 '08.

But, Can anyone tell me why the consulate is listed as Armenia and not Guangzhou? I would have expected Guangzhou, but I am new at this.

You need to edit your timeline. Maybe when you set up your timeline it accidentally scrolled to another consulate when you scrolled down the page? If you go here http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/ and click on Edit/Add my Entry under Timeline Fuctions you'll be able to change it.
