we're all almost done with our fingerprinting ^_^

hope everybody will get the interview letter soon :innocent:

still waiting for my husby :clock:

Married 2007, Husband became USC 06/2009,

I became a LPR 11/2009

IR-2 for USC's stepdaughter (my daughter) TIMELINE :

03/22/10 - Sent I-130 to Chicago, IL

03/23/10 - Received & Signed by R Mercado

03/31/10 - NOA1 Date

04/02/10 - Check cashed

04/05/10 - Received NOA1

05/03/10 - Touched

05/04/10 - Touched

05/05/10 - Touched/Received Approval Message (email&text) 44 days!!!

05/06/10 - Touched/Status says Approval Notice Sent on 05/05/10

05/07/10 - Case # Assigned

05/10/10 - Received NOA2

05/12/10 - DS3032/AOS Fee Bill Received (email)

05/12/10 - Sent DS3032 via email & Paid AOS Fee Bill

05/16/10 - AOS Fee Bill Payment Status is PAID

05/17/10 - DS3032 Accepted/DS230 Fee Bill Received/Sent AOS Packet

06/09/10 - Checklist Cover Letter Received by email (to pay&send DS230, & RFE for AOS)

06/23/10 - Sent RFE for AOS

06/30/10 - NVC Received RFE Response as per AVR

07/02/10 - Paid IV fee bill

07/13/10 - Sent DS230

07/14/10 - Packet received as per USPS

08/12/10 - AOS Accepted

08/17/10 - Sign in fail

08/18/10 - Called NVC, operator told me that our case will be sent to USEM

08/23/10 - Case received at USEM

08/24/10 - USEM gave Interview Date : September 17 @ 7:15am

09/17/10 - APPROVED

10/14/10 - POE at WAS, USA

N-400 for Me

01/09/13 - Sent to Dallas Lockbox (Lewisville, TX)

01/15/13 - Check Cashed and NOA date

01/28/13 - Biometrics Appointment (DONE)

01/30/13 - Email received "In line for Interview Scheduling"

Since my case is not normal, my NOA on 01/13/09(VSC). but i don't get the Finderprint letter yet,

in references to all of filers in January, you guys all get the Figerprint letter, what can i do?

I think you have a couple of options. Create an account at the USCIS website. (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp) and click on "Create/edit customer portfolio account." Once you created your on-line account, you can "Attach" your NOA receipt number. This will allow you to see whenever your case is "touched" by the USCIS (Look in the "Last Updated" column).

Another option is to call USCIS (phone number on your Notice of Action). This may not be the most productive use of your time. However, it's worth a try if you have the time to spare. I have read on the USCIS site that even if you get to talk to a representative, they will not be able to give you any specific information about your particular case while it is in "pending" mode. They do not research your case because they are focusing on current cases, and not cases that are in the "queue".

If I may ask, why do you say that your case is "not normal"?

Thank you, Goran.

I called USCIS and was told that my case put in pending for interview queue on 2/06/09, I think i don't need to do FP since I took FP in Jan. 2008 for I-751. Many people said the the FP vaild in 15 months.

Hey Lappa, I have on different forums that applicants have been receiving their interview letter few days after the error message.

So it may be a GOOD NEWS!

interesting that you say that because, come to think of it, I had the same exact problem and then the letter did arrive in the mail.

So, I guess an early *congrats* is in order for you, Lappa, - assuming this error message is a clue of what is yet to come. wink wink

I haven't got the interview letter yet. I hope that will come at any day in the coming week.

I received my interview letters about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I think you applied about three weeks after I did, so you should get your letter soon. :thumbs:

Yes, I got docs check list. Its on a white paper not on a yellow paper as many people got a yellow paper instruction.

Congrats, Lappa! :star: I guess there IS something to be said about that weird USCIS case status error message....by the way, curious, did you get a Interview Document check list paper with it?
