Attention everybody: If you are in a plane; keep your mouth shut, don't breath, don't move, heck, don't blink or you'll be removed from your flight.

Wouldn't that be nice? And no babies.

it is a knee jerk reaction..flying suxs these days

Bang on there, Almaty. I remember back in the 90's how cool flying used to be. I recall taking a KLM flight from London to Sydney, and when the very attractive stewardess came round with the drinks trolley, I remember saying to her "just leave the 6 pack, luv" when she asked me what beer I'd like. And she did, just like she did again when I asked the next time. It was free, too. On the flight I took home some months later, I remember being able to do the same, and smoke myself silly. Happy days.

Nowadays, the stewardesses are "flight attendants", invariably complete munters, and they hit you with the "yes, I think you've had enough sir" ####### after about 3 beers that you've paid $5 each for. icon_rolleyes.gif

Oh yeah. OH YEAH. If I had my way, I would absolutely ban ALL sprogs under the age of 5 from flying. Period. And any families with under 16's in tow would have to be placed in strict segregation from the rest of the passengers. Like, in the cargo hold.

People are crazy. They were going to Florida so there could have been some rednecks on the plane

Sorry, it's beyond crazy people and rednecks (who do seam to like Disneyland).

When you walk into the airport, they loudly announce that we are at threat condition ORANGE.

I can't remember flying since 9/11 when it was not ORANGE.

Going through multiple levels of screening, and being x-rayed, and constantly reminded that you should be afraid.

THAT is terrorism. Keeping our citizens in a constant state of terror. I won't be surprised when there's an anonymous hotline where

you can give information for money or citizenship points.

It's not the foreign terrorist that keep us afraid everyday, it's our own government.

They should be forced to fly Disney airlines!

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

oh if only..... just completed a coach flight from London to DC (horrific I know but business was full). A kid about 2 years old or so cried and screamed literally the entire journey. The mother did absolutely NOTHING, seriously, didn't even acknowledge the kid at all. Someone should introduce an adults only airline. God knows we could all do with a break away from other people's offspring.

If there was a misunderstanding, should have been cleared up, and why all nine passengers if only one made any kind of remark. Something is missing in this story, typical of the news today, only give have the story, ha, miss Paul Harvey when he gave the other half. Has to be a valid reason why they didn't let those nine passengers reboard, they are in a very good position for a stiff lawsuit.

Wow... did not realize they still had to pay for the seats! That is #######.

i heard this story on the news this morning... was under the impression that they were cleared by the Feds, but the actual airline wouldn't seat them...

I enjoyed booking seats on some of the Asian airlines...they would WARN you where the children are sitting...right on the electronic display.

You could see children, and you could see where parents holding infants were. Gives you an opportunity to make an informed decision about where to sit.

Infants, children, and teenagers aren't my worst fear of flying. My worst fear is that they'll try again to have IN-FlIGHT CELLULAR PHONE USE.

Yep, some airlines have tested offering cell service in-flight. Could you imagine sitting next to someone with one of those "push-to-talk" phones?

Now imagine that there's two teenagers on the plane with them...and one of them is sitting next to you.

Yes, because when you sit next to window, you can climb out of the window during flight and put explosive on the engine.

What kind of plane is that? One with patio doors? Or maybe even a balcony. Window would have to mashed out with a sledge hammer, even at that, most people wouldn't fit through, I sure wouldn't, then the decompression of the cabin may alert somebody, and carrying explosives through inspection?

Did hear after 9/11, suppose to be a armed federal marshal aboard every flight. From lack of anything better to do, and quietly try to guess whom may that be. Is it that two year kid, that sweet old lady, that nerdy looking guy with a laptop, that good looking gal? Anyway, after 9/11 and the results, certainly wouldn't sit there, going to get killed anyway, at least several of them would end up with broken necks. And hopefully my wife would hit one of them with her purse, ouch.

That is such a FANTASTIC idea, it really is. Once this economy sorts itself out, let's hope some bright young entrepeneur does exactly that. I would WILLINGLY pay a couple of hundred bucks over the odds for a child-free flight.

Slightly off topic...

My wife told me that people who pay for business class or first class are much better customers than people who are upgraded.

The people who get upgraded tend to be more needy, and drink a lot more.

This makes me think that having to pay for drinks on US domestic flights, keeps the number of drunk idiots lower than if it was an open-bar.

I vote for a drinking ban in flights. I get more annoyed by drunken chopfvcks than children.

I've no doubt they are. I'm sure it's so much easier it is to a "better customer" when sh!t is free, and you're not crammed into seats like battery hens.

The people who get upgraded tend to be more needy, and drink a lot more.

I LOL'd at this. Probably because it's true.

Nah - if we...............sorry I mean they ( ) need to fly, then then fly. And tbf, it's not really an issue on domestic flights; it's the long-hauls that are killers.
