We are to the point in our cr1 visa journey where we are waiting for interview date.

It is now a new month and new year Jan 2009 , and i am told that they will schedual approved cases for interviews in Febuary during the first two weeks of January. At least they lead me to believe thats what they did in the first to weeks of December for the month of January.

Anyone else waiting for the interview assignment?

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

Hi! Seems like our timeline looks similar.. wedding in april, filing in june, got slapped with RFE also asking for NBI clearance and not only local police cert (from my time of living in Davao City, phils), and then nvc complete a week or so after u guys.... so here's hoping that we too will get the interview date soon... :) will have hubby call NVC when he go back to US from here this weekend..
