well... i heard that the GC will take between 6-12 months because they are remodeling the design of the card... have any of you hear that?

 That's the first time I've ever heard about that! I don't think it's true since I know at least several people who have been getting their cards lately. I got my Welcome letter today (a week after the interview) which states that I will be getting the card within the next 3 weeks. They normally give the longest time, so I hope to get it a little earlier

Well my friend had her interview today in San Diego, and the Interviewer told her that... and they stamped her passport. So I don't know...

It is really strange... I had an interview a week ago in San Diego area too, but IO told us that I would be getting the card within 30 days. I also know 2 girls who had their interviews just yesterday (one in LA, another in NY), and none of them were told about any delays. So, let's hope that we will be getting our GCs pretty soon :star:

hi guys!

I don't feel safe there and secure with him for even here, he does things bad on me! huh! I don't really know if am gonna make this life going?! no hope, for i don't have any news still since we sent of RFE! i am losing hope!

I am thinking if he did cancelled it and I am waiting for nothing! guys what should I do if he did dad?! all he wants is to used me and be his slave, sex slave the most! he thinks that I am using him but ######! how can i use him that I don't even have any access to any of his accounts?! am flat broke, hopeless and drepress! GOD HELP ME WITH THIS?! :help: HUH! :crying:

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL HAVE SUCCEED THIER AOS JOURNEY HERE!! GOD BLESS US ALL!!

rajemr

Rajemr, I feel so sorry for you and your situation :( I think only you can decide if you want to stay with your husband or move forward without him. If you choose the second option then you need to decide if you want to go home or still stay in this country. If you do want to stay, the only way to do it is to wait for the green card and only then start the divorcing process (you will be able to remove the conditions without your husband I beleive but it will be a little more difficult).

I don't think that your husband cancelled the case. If it has been more than 60 days after USCIS got your reply to RFE, you can call them and make an inquiry or arrange an infopass appointment. Don't wait anymore, it's the time to take some actions!

I wish you the best of luck and do hope that everything will work out well for you!

hiya JulianDavid!

thanks for your reply and concerns! am thinking of going back but it is not a good way to do it for it is more diffult to go back home!! I felt am a loser and being used!! but am thinking to really make this relationship work as long as I still have patience and love for him! so you do think he didn't cancelled it?! what makes you think he didn't cancelled it?! it is been more than 60days as far as I calculated for we sent of the RFE last week of FEB and it was recieved by USCIS MISSOURI MARCH 5! and after it was recieve, no news at all what the heck is happening with my AOS?! huh! he did called USICS hotline last month and told us to seat and wait! and then I wasn't satisfied, I did called USCIS too after getting results on my USCIS websites queiries!! how can I get an infopass appointemnt JulianDavid?! pls :help: me? tomorrow, we will gonna go to the mine mountains and am scared for he might do something terrible with me there!! oh god! pls don't! it is far from civilization and 3hrs drive and nobody is there just us!! my life here is so doomed!! whew! pls help me guys, pls?! need to find a way to get to know my AOS status now!! pls?! :help::help::help::help:

thanks all in advance!!

have a great weekend..

Rajemr, you need to calm down! What makes you think that your husband might do something bad to you when you go to the mountains??? If you have some real reason to think so, then please don't go there with him! Well, I don't know your relationship and don't have the right to advise you anything... but I do hope that these are just your fears because you getting very nervous about your AOS case. I do know that the delays in processing the cases happen quite often and I don't think that your husband cancelled the case because otherwise they would have told you something about it when you called USCIS. You can make an infopass appoinment by going to the site: https://infopass.uscis.gov/info_en.php

You insert you zip code, find the local office and choose the available date.

Hang in there and good luck to you!

Thank you dbears for the support and encouragement.

As of this time, am still waiting...and waiting...for any news from USCIS. I check my mailbox everyday for any letter but..nothing.

My hope is slowly fading away...

Please don't lose hope, you have gone a long ways. It may not be as fast as your K1 visa approval but it will surely come.

"Never let go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself... 'How did I get through all of that?"

God be your constant refuge and strength. (((HUGS)))

Thank you for the encouragement.

I know waiting is the hard part in this process. I know some people have gone through worst in this visa journey process. it is just that it drains all hope especially knowing that some people already received their GC when in fact they filed a month after me...

Congrats to everyone who received their good news. I still am waiting for mine...

Well, I had my interview this morning and am approved.

Rachel and Andy-n-Maricar : congratulationss.gifdancing.gif

dbears all the best at your interview next week. Take everything that is required and more. Remember that "the heart of the kings is in the hands of the Lord."

Thank you very much karen... we had the interview this morning and it went painlessly smooth except for the medical RFE. The I.O. didn't asked only one question: "Where/How did you meet?"... asked to see our passports, birth certificates, Marriage certificate, SSN card, 2008 ITR. He went out of the room photocopied the BCs and then when he came back he said: "The good news is yours is an approvable case, the bad news is you would need to have a complete medical done because your medical file is missing.".. yes it is not just the vaccination supplement but a full medical because somebody lost my medical file. Our IO keep on saying it should be there in the file and that he could not understand why they would send our file to for interview without the medical.

So in essence we were approved but technically we are not yet officially approved. The IO said we need to have the full medical mailed in by June 25th and once they have it we will receive our green card after 2 weeks. Well, we were actually half expecting to be asked to submit vaccination supplement since i did not submit it but the full medical is news to us but still, we are very grateful that interview was done and over with... and hopefully we would still get our green card before the month ends.

Thank you to all who wished us luck and to all that are still waiting, I hope and pray you will hear some good news soonest. (F)

Congratulations DBEARS!!! Sorry to hear about the lost medical exam, the same thing happened to Maricar. It seems to be happening alot lately for some reason. Its good to know that once you get the medical out of the way you will be approved and have your GC in hand shortly thereafter. The best part is you will be freed from dealing with USCIS incompetence for almost 2 years! :dancing:
