kcoyclay1! Congrats!!! Sorry for the delayed wish. Hey! consider yourself lucky.:) At least you are done with the dreaded interview. I haven't even received an interview date yet. Am a Jan filer too:) They are saying New York is processing April 2008 cases. So, don't know whats going on. Some get letters within weeks some wait for years. I am happy for you. Pray I hear from them soon.

hey saspak, I hope you receive your interview date soon :yes: . I just looked at the processing time for New York and it is really at April 2008 but that is what it is regarding the PROCESSING TIME for APPLICATIONS RECEIVED, meaning from date of receipt of the application to interview date. I have looked at all the other field offices and they are all saying basically the same thing. That information is different from the AOS approval. There are others from Garden City, NY with similar timeline who were approved and have received their GC and last Wednesday I saw persons walked out of the interview smiling and hugging each other because they were approved.

I am just hoping that this letter will come soon. The wait is horrible :huh::(:o . All the best my dear, I hope u get your interview letter this week. Have you called to see what's happening?

Heya VJ'ers!

am so pleased to hear good news from my co vj'ers, congrats to all whose did have thier papers done and all!

it is been again quite a while since i log in again, I did logged in here a month ago as I could remember and posted a commnet reply but I wasn't able to say THANK YOU to the PERSON(s) who posted a reply comment on my issues!!

so here I am again, am back and well try to stay here in VJ from time to time now! I was so busy, stress and a lot of things going on with me that is why I was out on the the LIMELIGHT again!!

my mother in law is getting weaker each single day and seeing her suffering much more pain torns my heart apart! I do love her so much!

TO THE PERSON(s) who did reply my comment I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU, sorry took me long to say it!! MY LIFE IS IN GREAT TURMOIL HERE! but am still hanging on and trying my best to be strong for my family especially

that soon my hubby's mom will join her CREATURE!

It is running to almost four months now since we filed AOS(JANUARY) and haven't heared anything yet from it since march 05 that they got the RFE's we sent!!

My Friend who lives a few miles from my place got her and her son's travel permit and working permit somewhere last month, they file FEBUARY!

My hubby and I called USCIS 2wks ago to check the status of my case, we did went through a USCIS CUSTOMER REP and talk and she asked me my personal infos and after that she asked me if she can talk my hubby again and they talked and as what I have heared on thier conversation, all we need to do for now is.. "SEAT AND WAIT"!

BUT am so anxious to really know what is the real status of my case so what I did I did called USCIS again today but it is just an AUTOMATED MACHINCE takes my call and did followed the instructions over the phone and key in my reciept number and the result was that.. RECIEP NUMBER IS NOT FOUND!! did also go to USCIS WEBSITE AND CHECK IT there but the result was "VALIDATION ERROR", then dialed again to give another try but still didn't give me an answer! I did contacted my friend's on other state and asked thier hand and the result was still the same!!

now, there is a big QUESTION on my MIND!! what the HECK is going on with my AOS APPLICATION?! We did sent all the RFE's being asked and still no news from it! I am starting to freakingly worry now and have a thought of "Am I waiting for something or nothing?!" anybody here can give me thier point of view on my case or does anyone here have same senario I got?! pls VJ'ers HEAR ME out, pls?! thanks for your time reading my post and thank in advance for all the replies I can get!! HAVE A GREAT DAY!! GOOD LUCK TO US ALL!!

I just want to get it over with., but certainlly not scared as my husband and i have been married for almost 3 yrs with a baby and tons of evidence. He also plan on dressing in his military "Navy" uniform and myself i plan on dressing like its a work interview :blush:

Svetlana was approved today . . . or at least the guy said "I will mark this case as approved." :dance:

He said to give Green Card about a month to arrive. Doesn't it usually arrive much quicker?

Interview took about 30 minutes, after a 45-minute wait in the lobby.

Much went as expected, except the interviewer surprised us a little when he asked if we each had house keys. And then he asked to see them.

I had a great interview this morning!!!!!

Our appointment was scheduled for 8:30 am but went in early so got called at 8:00am. We took the oath and then was sitted. She asked for my passport and husband's military id.

She made sure that my address and signature was correct then went ahead and asked me all the terorist questions. She only asked if this was our first marriage, which it was and if we had outside kids, which is no. she then joked with my 1yr old and said she has a grandson with the same name.

From there she told me that i will be receieving the 10 yr Gc and it should arrive in 10 business days. I told her i intended to travel next week so she gave me a stamp in my passport which is valid for 6 months.

We signed nothing and she asked for no additional document other than my husbands 2 last paystubs and 2008 tax return. I brought our entire 4 last yrs in my bag which was useless; however its better to be over prepared.

She then told us that was all and have a great day. She was a very kind lady. we were both relaxed from the begining. As long as you know you have nothing to be scared of it will be ok. Be your self.

I am walking into our interview on Friday - May 8th. I am little nervous to be honest with you as my wife entered the country on B1/B2 visa while she was already married to me. Not sure what is coming our way, but I certainly hope for the best.

i-migrate thanks so much and all the best. I received my welcome letter today for permanent residency. It was approved (April 30) the day after my interview and mailed out the day after it was approved (May 1). I am on cloud nine. :dance: :dance: :dance::whistle::innocent:

I am walking into our interview on Friday - May 8th. I am little nervous to be honest with you as my wife entered the country on B1/B2 visa while she was already married to me. Not sure what is coming our way, but I certainly hope for the best.

Svetlana was approved today . . . or at least the guy said "I will mark this case as approved." :dance:

He said to give Green Card about a month to arrive. Doesn't it usually arrive much quicker?

Interview took about 30 minutes, after a 45-minute wait in the lobby.

Much went as expected, except the interviewer surprised us a little when he asked if we each had house keys. And then he asked to see them.

Congrats :dance: :dance: :dance: yes it arrives much quicker based on what I see.
