I looked at your timeline and youve been waiting for more than 90 days for your EAD. Did you try to call USCIS to check whats going on with your EAD?

My Green Card finally arrived today! The letter is dated 4/24/09 and it arrived 5/2/09. Hope everyone else's wait is soon over.

Hey john_dot. Haven't received that letter yet. I am hoping to get it this week :yes: . No update either from CRIS. When you are at the final lap and there is a hold-up it is the worst kind of wait :whistle: . You keep replaying the interview and wonder if you heard the questions correctly. They asked my husband his cell number and he told them and by the time I got home I was wondering if the question was about regarding our home number. Why I remember that it was his cell number was because I was wondering if he knew his cell number off-hand and when he repeated it I smiled to myself. I started doubting because I thought to myself that the application form has our daytime number which is our home number so why would she ask for our cell number? I have gone to all sorts of forum for additional information and I am trying to relax now as I am very impatient. Apart from my husband answering two questions incorrectly, being unsure of what my favorite food is and stumbling over the year we got married :rofl: , we did okay. I saw her write approved above the I-130 on the application form and wrote I485 pending beneath it. I hope I won't have kittens by the time I receive a response. Lets see how it goes.

andiste08, Eric & Althea - congratulations on receiving your green cards! Must be a huge relief not needing to deal with USCIS for a while now :D

By the way, an update regarding DMV stuff: called them today, they confirmed that everything was fine with my temporary DL and offered the first available date for the driving test - 21 May. But me and my hubby are going to Florida on the 20th, so I am gonna take the test after we come back.

Just wanted you guys to know that I received the greed card in mail today. The card is good till 4/22/2011. I remembered that IO at the interview told me something about getting my SSN updated, has anyone done this before?

Congrats Amy&Xin :dance: . You now need to get the restriction off your SS Card. If you go on the Social security website you see it. I have posted a thread about it and pasted the information there too.

Am a Jan filer too:) They are saying New York is processing April 2008 cases. So, dont know whats going on. Some get letters within weeks some wait for years. I am happy for you. Pray I hear from them soon.
