Hi,

Was looking at your timeline and I'm just curious to know how you were Blessed enough to received your EAD just days after your biometrics. I'm at my mailbox everyday looking out for mine since I did my biometrics almost a month ago. I am Prayerful and Hopeful though that it will be here any day now...even more Prayerful and Hopeful that it will be in the mail early this week!

I don't know the answer, perhaps it was because USCIS made us wait longer than most to have biometrics schedule. If you would look at the timelines, most january filers who had biometrics late march received their EAD approvals just days after the biometrics... but that is just wild guess... with USCIS, nobody knows for sure.

I am with you in hoping that you will get your EAD soon. (((HUGS)))

Well just thought I would post this to start us all off in the new year for those that will be filing for AOS in January! We are working on our package right now and hope to have it mailed out next week! Good luck to all!

I reciecve an RFE last two days ago requireng us to submit some initial evidence like my husbands 1040,w2s in 2008, letter of employment and pay stubs... we just done with that yesterday because my husband claim me as a wife in his 08 tax application and we used H&R block, thats the reason we had some delayed of submitting the 08 1040s and w2s. what confuse me now is my husbands jobs that dont provide or give out employment letter anymore they just have this new policy. Last feb,20 09 my husband recieve a letter of recognition of a good job well done so i decided to include that showing that my husband is currently working. I also include the letter of employment from 2007 indicating my husbands date of employment,wages and salary and numbers of hours hes working with them. Do you think this is way enough coz i cant really provide recent letter of employment but personally paystubs,1040s,w2s, letter of recognition and 07 letter of employment make sense to me but i dont know am so worried and confuse let me know what do u think

Emie what do they give out in the place of the employment letter to prove that he works there other than a pay-stub? I suggest that he tells them that he needs it for important government business (USCIS). I hope they comply.

COngrats to all who got their EAD and passed their interview!

Finally got my EAD today in the mailbox! Thank God! Im so excited! I went to SSA right away. The lady was very nice and accomodating. SHe asked for my passport and EAD and told me the SSN will be mailed in 7-10 days. So hopefully I'll get my SSN within the week so my hubby can file joint taxes. One week from now will be our interview. Im so nervous!

Btw, my case online still says "case received and pending", NO updates, NO Cris Email... so for those still waiting it will just show up in your mailbox! Just be patient and keep on praying! Goodluck and Best wishes to those who will have their interview soon!

Congratulations on the good news everyone :D Levi got his SS card yesterday. Took just a little over a week.

happy for you Levi_Heather :dance: . Now to the tax man we go to file joint taxes .... :)
